Quite possibly my favourite sign of all time. They took the time to put an outline stroke on the red type. They made it all out of what looks like gaffer tape. There are three random letters in lower case. The word spacing and letter spacing on ‘fresh vegetables’ are crazy. This is a masterpiece.

Sadly, this work of art was lost to a storm and has been replaced by a neater, conventional sign which is completely devoid of personality by comparison. Such is the transient nature of art…
